Whelp, Sony just kicked Microsoft’s ass in terms of selling their system.
So it turns out the XBox One might not be as bad as we all thought. Its biggest issue was the anti-used game feature. As far as I’ve recently heard, that’s nothing but rumor.
And then there’s the fact that you can stream your games directly to Twitch from your XBox One.
I need to reassess my opinion on the XBox One. Its only downsides currently, as far as I remember, are that Kinect Spying patent and the high price tag.
Actually, Ben, the anti-used game feature is not a rumor, but has been confirmed by Microsoft themselves in a blog post outlining Xbox One’s key features and functions.
“We designed Xbox One so game publishers can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers.”
They’ve still left it deliberately vague, but the fact that they’re even doing this is sort of outrageous. Not to mention that they neglected to detail more of these restrictions at E3, which is even more suspicious.
